We had a great first Wonder Wednesday in our Mustang Makerspace! Nearly 75 students stopped by today over the course of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade lunch periods to learn how to design models for our 3D printer using Project Ignite! Students were able to join our Wonder Wednesday class and learn the basics of Tinkercad, and several moved on to begin designing their very own creations.
Students were all issued a challenge ... design something that will help solve a problem or better your school in some way. Any student interested in designing a creation to meet this challenge has until our next Wonder Wednesday session in mid-October to submit their design idea. At least one great design will be printed on the MakerBot. Remember, you are able to log in to your Project Ignite/Tinkercad account at school or at home and continue working on your tutorials and independent designs.
If you had trouble logging in today (we had a few technical difficulties during 6th grade lunch!), simply follow the instructions to the left of this paragraph. Your sign-up will need to be approved before you can access any of the lessons. See Mrs. Keefer with any questions and happy designing!
