Seventh graders in Ms. Hudak's ELA classes stopped by the Book Cafe today to try out our menu of genres. Students had a chance to spend a few minutes with each "genre course" and rate their favorites at each table. It was a fun way to find a great book to read over winter break and a chance to give new genres a try!
Our Mustangs had a great time crafting unique ornaments from discarded books today! Many came and made them for fun, but others took the opportunity to make gifts for others and decorations for their shelves. TLC members also had a chance to get a head start on their book-themed ornament for our upcoming December meeting's White Elephant swap.
Our 8th graders had such a great time putting their knowledge of scale and ratio to the test by creating a 3D snowman themed after their favorite holiday movie on Tinkercad. This Elf-themed snowman sure does love his spaghetti with syrup!
